The Great Elephant Migration is a global fundraising adventure to amplify Indigenous knowledge and inspire the human race, to share space.
A collaboration between Indigenous artisans, contemporary artists and cultural institutions, it is raising millions of dollars to power human-wildlife coexistence projects and protect migratory animals making spectacular journeys across land, rivers, skies and oceans.
Two blankets made on behalf of The Great Elephant Migration as part of a collection to mark its completion - a traveling art exhibit of 100 magnificent life-size elephants sharing a story of human-wildlife coexistence. Inspired by Indigenous traditions of bestowing blankets to honor meaningful endings and show respect, each blanket is a unique celebration of coexistence and a beautiful way to carry the herd’s story forward. All proceeds from the sale of the blankets will help power human-wildlife coexistence projects supported by The Great Elephant Migration.
